So Im hoping there is someone out there that has been dealing with this same issue. For over two years now I have been spotting every month. Immediately after the spotting started my nurse practitioner put me on the pill. At first the pill helped but only a couple months later the spotting started again!!! This is SO frustrating. Some months I spot a lot and others for only a few days. After trying a couple different pills that didn't help I went to an OBGYN and he ran some tests including a blood test and a pelvic ultrasound. All came back normal. I quite drinking caffeine, made sure I was excercising, never miss a pill, and always take them at the same time, yet nothing has stopped the spotting. My husband and I are now talking about trying to get pregnant so I am having another ultrasound to make sure everything is okay and then going off the pill. My concern is that all this spotting means there is something seriously wrong that may cause me to not be able to get pregnant. Has anyone else ever had this problem and did you ever find out what was wrong? I seriously need some input please!

Hi,

I've been going through the same problem for years. I must have tried about 6 different BCP and nothing worked. I got pelvic ultrasound as well and came back normal. I've been off the pill and we're trying to get pregnant now and I'm still spotting.

Did you ever find out anything else? HELP!

Thanks.
