I have been on lexapro for 2 yrs, 20-30 mg.
I gained 40 lbs in the first 4 months. I found information that lexapro and other SSRi's are sending wrong info to the Hipothalamus Pitituary Gland (HPG)and this gland is sending too much glucorticoids, cortisol or whatever to the system causing an excess of insulin in the system, bottom line excess fat in our body! How can I tell my HPG to stop it and to just send normal levels into my body?
is there anything that i can take to do this????[/b]
