Hi, I have some cyst on my leg and was administered cortizone shots. What are side effects I can expect? How long is this therapy repeated?

Hi, when I had a big pimple or cyst on my neck, five months ago. The dermatologist was concerned about recent outbreaks and advised cortisone shots into the pimple or cyst on my neck. I should have never allowed that to be done, because I still have mark on the skin. I wasn’t told of this risk, and doctor considers it an esthetic question. I was told it would disappear in time, but anyway I am applying bleaching creams. Such reaction to cortisone shot happens from time to time, and I was that unlucky case. I will try some skin repair treatments based on antioxidants and calendula, to speed up healing process.
