Cough and excessive mucous problems

Hi, I am 42 years old male and I am suffering from cough and excessive mucous problems. I am smoker and I smoke up to one and half packs per day. Excessive mucus production is very big problem for me and I don't know what to do about it. Please if someone had similar experiences tell me what to do.

Hi, basic problem of your cough may be allergy, sinusitis or viral infection but smoking is prolonging your cough no matter of cause. First you would do is to quit smoking and than you will be able to focus on the cause of your problem. It sounds like chronic bronchitis so you have to do your best to stop smoking.
