Could 500mg Naproxen daily cause a false positive on a drug test?

Hello! I work in a car factory and our management sometimes performs urine drug test for all employees. Actually I don't like this and I feel really stupid while this test is performed, but I signed the contract where it was stipulated that I accepted such actions. I have never been addicted to anything, I don't even smoke. Sometimes I use naproxen for pain in my back (my doctor prescribed it to me) and I heard yesterday that naproxen could cause a false positive on a drug test. Is this possible?

According to a study of 161 prescriptions and over the counter medications showed that 65 of them produced false positive drug test results in the most widely administered urine drug test procedure. Currently there are more than 250 over-the-counter medications and prescription drugs that can cause false positives. For example naproxen can cause a false positive result on marijuana. I think you should talk to your boss and tell him you use naproxen. If he doesn't believe you bring you doctor with you.
