I am on dolobid because of rheumatoid pain and joint inflammation that I have developed a week ago. I am 46 years old and sometimes have elevated blood pressure but still do not have prescribed therapy for that. I wonder if dolobide can lead to hypertension. I have noticed that it really has helped me in joint pain and inflammation, but would like to avoid its adverse effects.
Well, I think that dolobide does not lead to hypertension exactly, but has adverse effects related to cardiovascular system. I know that people with cardiovascular diseases are at greater risk of thrombotic events or myocardial infarction. Theoretically it is definitely correct, but as shorter drug is used, less is the risk. Anyway, talk to your doctor about your hypertension therapy.
