I think I have eczema on my face. I’m not sure but I know that OTC topical corticosteroids can help me with any skin disorders. Once I had eczema few years ago I used this kind of cream and it helped me. Bur recently I heard something about steroid-induced rosacea. Could I be developing steroid-induced rosacea?
Unfortunately, yes. If you use these kinds of creams on your face, you may get rosacea. New researches showed that people who use over-the-counter topical corticosteroids, such as hydrocortisone cream may have problem with severe burning and itching with bright red papules and nodules on their faces. This may occur after long-term application of even low-potency topical corticosteroids.
