Could being hyperthyroid cause eczema too?

I need some information about eczema. My mother got eczema on her arm. She has never had it before in her life. She is also hyperthyroid. I know that a lot of things may cause eczema but I’m not sure about hyperthyroidism. Now I’m wondering Could being hyperthyroid cause eczema too?

Well, as I know, hyperthyroidism may cause eczema. Hyperthyroidism can cause many skin disorders and eczema is one of them. People who are hyperthyroid usually have thin and delicate skin. It’s very easy for them to got eczema. Your mother should go to dermatologist. She probably needs to use some cream.
