Hello, folks. My wife suffers from serious migraines. When she has headache, she is not able to do anything. When she was examined, doctor said my wife had dehydration. I wonder whether dehydration could be to blame for migraines. I would really appreciate all your opinions. This will help me a lot.

Hello, there. Dehydration is an excessive loss of fluids from the body. It occurs when one loses more fluid than one takes. Dehydration can be a cause for many diseases and conditions. It can also be a trigger for migraines and headaches. Muscle weakness is also one of the symptoms. Your wife should visit neurologist if she hasn’t already done that. He will prescribe her a proper therapy. I hope she will feel better. Good luck!
