Could drug tests detect Adderall?

Hi. I suffer from depression and now that I take Adderall it is much better. Now one question just for fun of itâ€¦ I heard somewhere that if I would go on a drug test, it would be positive? Is that true? If that is the case, that would be extremely unpleasant for people who use it.

Unfortunately it is. I learned it the hard way. I was hospitalized because of the car accident. Both drivers (other one and me) ended up in the hospital. I agreed to the drug test and it turned up positive! I was shocked! Now I was facing a taking away my license, and paying big bucks for court bills. Fortunately, doctor asked me what meds am I taking, and as I responded he smiled and explained everything. Apparently Adderall contains amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, which are stimulants. So it can turn (false) positive on a urine drug test.
