Could heart attack produce no symptoms?

My mother feels some pain in her left arm but it’s nothing serious, so she doesn’t want to go to doctor. Still I’m worried. Maybe it is a sign of heart attack or something else. But I heard that sometimes there are no signs for heart attack. Is it truth? Could heart attack produce no symptoms?

Yes, that’s possible. Some people have no symptoms at all. Whenever you can see heart attack on TV, you see something very dramatic, but in reality mostly it’s not like that. I read somewhere that only 50% of patients who develop heart attacks have warning symptoms and these symptoms may be mild.
