I am taking coumadin for a few months. I have problems with blood clots in my veins. I am slightly overweight and I am 55 years old. Also recently I am starting to feel pains caused by arthritis. My doctor gave me indocin as a therapy. I have forgotten to tell him that I am using coumadin. Can I take both medications at the same time?
No, you may not, and dont play with this. Mixing coumadin with any form of NSAIDs such as aspirin, celebrex or indocin (indomethacin) can cause serious problems. This can affect your blood clothing and cause serious bleedings in your stomach or intestines. Go and talk to your doctor immediately to get some other treatment.
