Cracked ribs or Not?

Hey I have a friend that thinks that he has a cracked rib but he is not sure. He says that it is hard for him to breath or talk. He cant turn his body to the left but he can turn his head to the left. He fell about 4 days ago at work but he wont go to the doctor. Could you tell me what I could do to help or tell me if he might a cracked rib at all?
