I had an abortion 3 weeks ago, In Greece and it was carried out differently to the ways I've read about online, I'm still cramping badly. Is this normal, or should I go back to the gynaechologist?

May I ask how it was done?

How was it carried out?

Yes, please call your doctor.

it was with pills but he put one inside me, and made me swallow one the same immediately afterwards, and told me if I hadn't started to bleed by 1pm to take another. Then at 5 that same afternoon I went back where he scraped/sucked everything out. And that was it

OKAY, I see now, thanks.

We just use suction, without the pills.

Suction is VERY effective at ending a pregnancy

Your cramping is likely from ovulation, a period coming soon, or simply your uterus contracting.

It is not necessarily serious, but a call to the doc never hurts.
