Hi, I have a problem with my mother. She has been having these anxiety attacks for the last couple of months. She is feeling fatigue as well. For her anxiety I am giving her some drugs doctors have prescribed. As for her fatigue I am not sure. A friend of mine told me that a drug called Cylert can help her with fatigue. What can you tell me about this drug?

Hi, I am glad that at least one problem with your mother is under control. Anxiety is a serious condition and it is very important to be treated. As for the fatigue, you will need to know what the cause of it is. The best thing that you can do is to take your mother to the doctor so that he can do some tests. Blood tests and physical exam will probably be the first ones that will be performed. Cylert can help but, as I said, medical tests are necessary. This drug is used for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder-ADHD. Some other conditions that Cylert can help with are narcolepsy and depressive disorders. However there are also some side effects that you need to know about. Such are weight loss caused by decreased appetite, dizziness and insomnia. Also, Cylert can cause addiction. Do not do anything on your own but consult a medical professional.
