Cymbalta help post shingles neurpathy?

My mom contacted shingles September 10,2005.
She immediately developed neuralgia and it is over a year now.
She is on Lyrica. Would the combination with Cymbalta relieve a little more of her pain?
She is 88 years old-high blood pressure, circulatory problems in legs and is on lasix for her heart.
