Cyst vs Pregnant?

My boyfriend and I broke up over two months ago. We hadn't had sex in about a week prior to breaking up. I'm on the pill and have had my period since, the problem is I did not get it this past month. I had a doctors appt yesterday and he immediately thought I had a cyst on my ovary. When I told him that I had not gotten my period this last month he asked if I could be pregnant - I told him I didn't think so that it had been over two month since I'd had sex. He said I'd be much further along if I were pregnant. I have not had any symptoms of a pregnancy - ie tender breasts, nausea. I am getting an ultrasound and bloodtests but I'm worried...could I be pregnant?
