There are two kinds of cysts that could appear in testicles: hydrocele and spermatocele.

Hydrocele is a fluid filled sac that forms in the scrotum besides the testicle and it swells the scrotum, so it looks bigger than usual. Hydocele is painless and harmless and it doesn’t cause infertility.

Another kind of cyst that may appear in the area is spermatocele. It forms on the testicular tube. It is filled with dead sperm cells and some milky fluid and is not as big as hydrocele. Spermatocele usually show up on top of testicle.

Neither of these cysts are linked to any fertility impairment. They don’t prevent semen or sperm from being ejaculated and don’t impair sperm’s quality.

You should know that while some healthy couple take just a month to conceive, others may need up to a year. It all depends on the right timing (if you follow your cycle and ovulation), egg quality and maturity, hormones, etc

You should be worried only if you don’t manage to conceive in a year time of planned trying. In that case, you should see a fertility doctor. Good luck!
