DONG QUAI for reducing headaches and high blood pressure?

My mother has problem with high blood pressure. She heard that herb Dong quai my help her. She is thinking to try it. My friend told me that this herb also may be helpful for headaches. What do you know about DONG QUAI for reducing headaches and high blood pressure?

Dong quai is used in Chinese traditional medicine to treat high blood pressure, anemia and fatigue. But it’s also effective for many other illnesses like hepatitis, bronchitis, herpes zoster and thrombosis. I use it because I found that it’s very good for my migraine headaches.
