I am a truly miserable 40 year old female! April of 2006, I had surgery to remove my fallopian tubes. I have really heavy periods, with terrible clotting which normally last at least seven days. I am severly anemic. February 7th , 2008, I had surgery to remove my right ovary due to mulitple cysts, had a Bartholins gland cyst in my inner vaginal lips removed by laser, and a D&C and Nova Sure procedures done. The next day after the outpatient surgery I ended was rushed back to the hospital due to high temperature, extreme pain, steadtily rising blood pressure. I was admitted and styed for 6 days. I was told it was due to a bacteria infection called Group B Hepatitis. Today is March 1, 2008, and I am still having what I feel to be abnormal pain, especiaaly on the left side and this awful reddish-pink thick discharge. The place where the glandular cust was excised is still open and painful. I have taken the course of Flagyl and am truly disgusted with my body. I did not know the right questions to ask my doctor but he really didn't offer much inforamtionon recovery time and consequences of all of these procedures. Someone please help me with knowledge on if this is normal. When will I be able to resume normal healthly activites: exercising, intercourse, playing with my students, dancing, etc.... |
