Dark outer labia around "crotch of underwear" area

My outer labia around where the crotch of my underwear sits is much darker in color than the rest of my genitalia. They don't feel irritated, no itching, no burning, nothing that would make it seem like it's a problem, they're just an odd color compared to the rest of me. I just started taking Yaz birth control pill (3 months) and that made it darker, but I remember them being dark before I got on the pill. I went to the gyno (to get on the pill) and she didn't say there was anything wrong.

So I'm wondering what I can do about the color change, it makes me really self-concious. I've thought about not wearing underwear at night but since I've just finished my period and I'm spotting a bit that's not an option. What can I do about this? I'm reeeally self-concious about it... Embarassed
