Hi, I have an appointment on Monday for deep teeth cleaning. I don’t want any surprises, can you tell me what will they do to me? Is it painful?

Well, it’s certainly not a pleasant process, but it’s effective. You have nothing to be worry about, it doesn’t hurt, you just have to sit patiently and wait until it’s over. I went to two separate appointments that lasted an hour each. A dentist numbed that area, and started cleaning. Deep Cleaning is very good because is prevents gingivitis and other gum illnesses. It also prevents a gum bleeding, which affects many people. My gums have receded from the teeth, and that’s why needed a deep teeth cleaning. I had a smooth, clean surface again, so my gums could easily reattach to the teeth.
