Defibrillator after heart attack

Please, can somebody with experience tell me how really useful Defibrillator after heart attack is? My husband recently had a heart attack and he got one implanted defibrillator after that. His doctor told us that we don’t need to worry any more and that it will be very helpful. Thanks!

An implanted defibrillator is designed to provide immediate emergency treatment if your heart goes into a dangerous rhythm. Now your husband can be back to his normal daily activities. Be sure that defibrillator can be useful.
