Hello,
I would really appreciate if someone would give me an aswer on definition on schizophrenia. Is this a condition of split personality?

No, this is not a condition of split personality. Schizophrenia literally means split mind. Schizophrenia is described with symptoms that typically include delusions, hallucinations, disordered thinking, and emotional unresponsiveness. It has some origin in genes and environmental stressors. Some experts classify schizophrenia into positive and negative symptoms. First are psychosis and mental disorganization among many, and former apathy and social withdrawal. But these symptoms very often overlap and interact with each other, so this classification could be misleading.
