Hi. I think Depakote is not working for you because you are taking Dilantin too. There are some meds that will affect Depakote. These drugs include Topamax, Orinase, Coumadin, Tylenol, Retrovir, Clozaril, Valium, Merrem, Rifadin, Zarontin… Anti-seizure meds such as Dilantin, Tegretol, Luminal, Felbatol, Lamictal, Klonopin, etc. will also affect Depakote. There is another reason why Depakote is not working for you. Maybe you need dosage adjustment. You should also know that other stuff can affect Depakote too. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc.
