Depo Provera 3 monthly injection

Can anyone who has been on this and stopped tell me how long after being off it did they get their periods? Keeping in mind that they should include the 3 months after the last shot. please do not give me the stats, as im fully aware of what they are, i would like to know from someone, not textbook theory.

I WAS ON THIS SHOT FOR 3YRS MAXIUM.. WHEN I GOT TAKEN OFF IT I HAD A PERIOD BUT IT WAS A NORMAL FLOW PERIOD.. THEN AS IT WORE OFF MORE AND MORE I WENT BACK TO MY NORMAL HEAVY FLOW.. BUT IT TAKES UP TO A YEAR FOR IT TO GET OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM...GOOD LUCK THOUGH

I was on it for several years and it took me about one year to get my period again. It has never been the same. so, do not go by what it used to be like, it may not be the same for you either.
