Hi,

I am 5 days late. I have had constant cramping for the past week, a major increase in vaginal discharge, headaches, back pain, and constant hunger. I am a bit confused... is it just PMS, but how long can this last? This is the first time I am this late. I practice the withdrawal method... could I be pregnant? I took an EPT, but it came out negative.... any advice?

Hi there!

Those sound like symptoms of pregnancy. However, PMS can give the exact same symptoms so it is very hard to determine which is which, sometimes. False negatives are also very common. It may be too early to test. So I would give it another week or perhaps a little bit longer just for it to detect it. Make sure you get the lowest detecting test there is. I buy mine online and they detect a very low amount which is 20 mIU of the hormone in urine.

If that comes out negative and you are still experiencing this then I would suggest going to see a doctor and maybe s/he can help you. I hope this helps and good luck!! Keep us posted.
