I read something about acute kidney failure. I was surprised when I read that sometimes there no any signs of it. I know that diabetes can cause chronic kidney failure. Can diabetes cause acute kidney failure also? Why that’s happening? Tell me more about diabetes and accute kidney failure, please.

Diabetes is the most common cause of chronic kidney failure. Unlike chronic renal failure which is a slow, progressive decline of kidney function, acute renal failure happens quickly and suddenly. Kidneys contain millions of tiny blood vessels that filter waste from your blood and eliminate it in your urine. Diabetes and other diseases can damage this filtering system.
