Diabetes and diastolic heart failure?

Hello! My grandfather is suffering form diabetes. Yesterday he told me that his cardiologist diagnosed diastolic heart failure. I want to know how his treatment will go in the future regarding the fact that he has diabetes and diastolic heart failure. I hope that you will know answer on this. Thank you!

Hello! I can tell you that you should not be worried about your grandfather’s condition. Cause of diastolic heart failure is diabetes. He needs to treat diabetes and during treating primary disease, diastolic heart failure may be healed. I am sure that his doctor will do his best to improve your grandfather’s health.
