My boyfriend is diabetic and he suffers from stomach problem, such as constipation often. He is embarrassed to talk about it, but I would like to help him. Do these problems occur because his is diabetic or because his eating habits?
Well, it is common for people with diabetes to have stomach problem and majority of them suffers from constipation. Diabetes is also one of the most common causes of gastroparesis, delayed emptying of the stomach. Is he on insulin? Maybe he should increase insulin. He should consult his doctor about stomach problems.
