Diagnosed possible IBS...get this bump on upper abdomin after pain

3 months ago I had my gallbladder out and it did not relieve my severe pain/cramping in my upper abdomin. Ran test and came back negative, so I'm diagnosed with IBS. Twice I've notice recently after a bout of pain I bump-like thing would arise and stay for a couple of hours on my skin where my upper ab is. What is that? Why is it doing that? Could I have something else?
