Hi. My son is only 4 and he was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Me and my husband also have CF. Don`t know what to do. Feel lost and wonder is there anything in this world that could help him. I know that medical treatments continue to advance and would like to hear is there some new cure for kids with CF?
Hi. Medical treatments are improving but still, there is no cure. My kid had CF and he died in the age of 10. Children with CF must eat healthy food with vitamins. My son was on some 30 pills per day before he died (Pulmozyme, TOBI, all sorts of vitamins). As people with CG get older, infections tend to worsen up, so you must treat his condition the very best you can.
