Diagnosed with Schizoid Personality

My cousin have been diagnosed Schizoid Personality. He was very close to me, but he changed. He want to be alone all the time. Is this result of Schizoid Personality disorder? Please tell me something more. Does this disorder lead to schizophrenia?

Other symptoms are a lack of feelings, the wish to be alone all the time, and no concern for the opinions and feelings of others. The person is not able to show anger or any hostile feelings and does not seem to react to disturbing experiences. It may lead to schizophrenia.
