About 4 days ago I woke up with really painful urination - like peeing pure acid! I assumed it was a UTI and started drinking cranberry juice until I could see a doctor. The juice really helped - it barely hurt anymore! A day later I found a small bump, it kind of look like a cut or something near the opening of my vagina. I freaked out! It hurts to be touched Went to the doctor today and he confirmed the UTI but also took blood to test for herpes. He said the sore didn't look like typical herpes but he wanted to test to be sure.
I won't get the test result for three more weeks!! I don't have any of the other symptoms (fever, aches, chill etc) and the burning urination is from the UTI. I had unprotected sex once over 15 months ago but never had any of these symptoms.
Also, about 5 months ago I had these weird dry sores on my thighs and underwear line, they didn't hurt though. I went to the gyno and he said it was probably just a rash. Was that a possible sign of herpes? I am really scared. Thank you! |
