| Hello, I am 46 years old and I have been having some problems with sleep lately. It looks like I have these pauses in breathing and that is called sleep apnea. And even though I do not have any pain or other symptoms, doctor said that it can damage my heart, and that in some cases, surgery is required. Did you have any side effects from obstructive sleep apnea surgery? |

| My father had similar problems, but luckily, he did not have to go to surgery, he had to use meds only and that help. But I did also hear that heart might be damaged (right side I think). So, if doctor told you there is a need for surgery, you should listen to him. Some also say that quitting smoking and alcohol, health life in general helps a lot. |
