Hi! I’m 14 years old. I am often confused. Sometimes I am afraid that I am going mad. Every my friend have a similar thoughts. Did you think you were psychotic?

Hi! I never did think that I am psychotic. First you must know what means psychosis. The term `psychosis' is used to describe when a person loses touch with reality. Teenagers often worry that they may be `going mad' when they are feeling stressed, confused or very upset. In fact, feelings like these are very rarely a sign of mental illness. Maybe you will feel better if you talk someone about these feelings. Probably you aren’t psychotic, you only grow up.

If you think your going crazy, then your perfectly normal.

It's those that think they are getting better that are actually crazy.
