Hello! My sister used to have few pounds more. She was not fat but she was extremely worried because of that. Then she has found some diet in the newspapers and started with it. Now she looks like a walking skeleton. I tell her she has eating disorder but she tells me she is on a diet. What is the difference between eating disorder and diet?
Hello! There is a huge difference between a diet and an eating disorder. Diet could improve your health and eating disorder leads to illness. Diet usually refers to weight loss which is sometimes not healthy if used unprofessionally. Many women start a diet without consulting the nutritionists or doctors which could be fatal. Playing with weight, without support of specialists may sometimes lead to eating disorder.
