Different types of sleeping disorder?

Hello! My father has problems with sleep apnea. Since he suffers from obesity his doctor recommended a diet and physical activity. Also, he will try a CPAP machine next week. I tried to learn more about his sleep disorder with aim to be able to help him. What Different types of sleeping disorder exist?

Hello! There are more then one hundred types of sleep disorders. Insomnia is the best-known sleep disorder but there are also the most common forms of sleep problems such as sleep apnea, RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome), PLMS (Periodic Limb Movement in Sleep) and narcolepsy. It is very important to understand the symptoms and causes of the most common forms of sleep problems in order to make a proper diagnosis and determine good treatment.
