My doctor prescribes me diphenhydramine. I have some kind of allergy. What kind of drug is diphenhydramine? Does it help? Have anyone experience with this drug? What are the side effects of this drug?
Hi! I had experience with diphenhydramine. Diphenhydramine help me to cure allergy. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine. Diphenhydramine is used to treat sneezing; runny nose; itching, watery eyes; hives; rashes; itching; and other symptoms of allergies and the common cold. Serious side effect is allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives). If this happened to you stop taking diphenhydramine.
Other, less serious side effects (sleepiness, fatigue, or dizziness; headache; dry mouth; or difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate) may be more likely to occur. Continue to take Diphenhydramine and talk to your doctor if you experience.
