Lately while masturbating I have noticed an unusual yellowish green traces in my ejaculate. I have had this problem on few occasions before while I was younger but they lasted usually for few days, a week at most and then the color of the semen returned to normal. I thought it was because of too much sex and masturbation. What is unusual about this time is its lasting for more than two weeks and that I don’t have as much sex as I used to before. I also started having unusual pains in my lower abdomen and between legs. What could it be? Should I go talk to my doctor? Help please.
I have had similar symptoms with discolored semen a few years ago but mine was more like green-brown. I didn’t pay much attention to it at first but I started getting blood in the semen which got me more and more worried. When I applied to the marine core I had to go through the series of tests. The military doctors took some samples of my semen, then I had to take a rectal exam of my prostate, they also performed some blood tests and determined that it was an infection of the prostate. They gave me amoxyciline to fight off the infection and unfortunately I didn’t get drafted into the marines. Of course the infection was cured two weeks after that and the semen got its normal color, but I had to apply again to the marines which was too much of a hassle for me so I finally gave up on that. I think you should talk to your urologist or general practitioner about this matter, so he or she can give you proper treatment and care. Let me know how it all went.
