Back in nov I broke my left clavicle I had x-ray's done the next day and was told it was a distal clavicle fracture. I was refered to an orthopedic surgen. she said 3-weeks rest with a sling and then 3-weeks of ot-pt therapy to ween me out of the sling. After the first three weeks I did not have another x-ray I started thearpy. I have seen the doctor twice in the last 13 weeks she x- rayed it both times ad said it was heeling fine just slowly. last week my theripist (concered about my progress) wrote a note to the doc sugesting an mri the doc said oh yea that was going to be our next course of action so I had it done and it showed the bones had healed with the tendeon in the middle and i now require surgery. a procedure called mumford. im concerened why didn't they do the mri a month ago. I think someone really dropped the ball. any one with comments or have heard of this mumford please write d.venecz@insightbb.com thanks Dana
