Hi,
I have a stomach diverticulum. I just was wondering if anyone has experience with this. As far as I can tell this is congenital and they say usually it does not cause trouble, but mine has been hurting about 4 times a week terribly. My doctor has sent me to a GI who saw the Diverticulum on the stomach during an endoscopy and I am now seeing a general surgeon. He has not seen one on the stomach, but has in other areas, he said what can be done if I continue to have pain, is laproscopically go in and staple off the diverticulum. Just wondering if anyone has any info on this at all?
