My blood test showed that I had high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides. My doctor didn’t want to give me drugs. He just advised me to try with healthy diet. Also I quitted smoking and usage of any alcohol. Do Cholesterol and triglycerides respond quickly to diet and lifestyle changes?

It’s not so easy to give a right answer on your question. The cholesterol and triglycerides levels in your blood depend of many things. And every body reacts differently on certain diet and changes. Just be patient and you will see changes very soon. Probably after two or three months your blood test will show better results.
