Do i have tp stop taking saint john's wort now that I'm pregnant?

Hello, guys. I have been using st. john’s wort for years since I had some sleeping disorders. However, now I am pregnant and I am wondering whether I have to stop taking this herb. What do you know about this? I would appreciate if anyone could reply me this. Bye, guys!

Hello. It is still unknown about the effects of St. John’s Wort in pregnant women. There were some experiments in animals. It has shown some genetic damages. I suggest you to talk to your obstetrician and psychiatrist. I think it would be better to stop using this herb during pregnancy. Perhaps, someone else will know more details.
