Hi, my son is 17 years old and these days all he talks about is piercing and tattoos. It's not like I will forbid him that, but I would like to know if his desire for that means a cry for help? Is it necessary for me to talk to him about it, I know that adolescent age might be very difficult?

not exactly a cry for help.. but it is the need for acceptance he thinks he'll gain from it. Just reinforce in your son that he doesn't need to do those things for acceptance; instead just be himself, and be confident in that. Exercise is a GREAT confidence builder. Very Happy
