Doc switching me from methylprednisolone to naproxen!Can I still take naproxen?

Hi! I have rheumatoid arthritis. I used methylprednisolone for years but two weeks ago my doctor decided to switch me from methylprednisolone to naproxen. He did it because I started to suffer from strong headaches. Now I’m taking naproxen but since yesterday I feel pain in stomach. Maybe it’s because I changed medicaments. Can I still take naproxen?

Well, one of severe side effects of naproxen is stomach pain. It can cause a serious damage with your stomach. I know that for sure because I used naproxen for years. It’s maybe better to you to stop immediately to use this medicament and go to see your doctor. He will probably give you another kind of medicaments.
