Doctor said that I might have hookworms!

Hello, I am 24 years old and I really wonder how this might have happened but it did. Doctor said that I might have hookworms, no idea how I got those! Anyway, he seemed as if it is nothing serious, but I guess I just want some reassurance that it really is not anything problematic.

I think that you should have a bit more faith in your doctor’s words. Hookworms are not a serious condition, but there might be some complications if it is left untreated. Therefore, medicament therapy should start as soon as possible and it is effective (you will probably be prescribed with Albendazole, if not already).
