Hi, my wife will have a delivery in few days, and doctor told her that she might need a C- section. Is this procedure dangerous for her, and will it affect her vagina? I am also wondering if she’s going to be in pain after C-section, so I could prepare proper medications. Thanks

Hi, I had C-section when I was giving birth to my second child. My doctor said that a vaginal delivery would lead to medical complications because of the position of my baby, so I had no other option. There are few ways that C-section can affect vagina. The risks are usually infection, blood loss, problems with the placenta and weakened uterine wall. I didn’t have any of those problems, and C-section didn’t affect my vagina. Don’t worry too much, many women had this procedure and nothing happened to them. Most of them recover well, without any bigger problems. My abdominal area was painful for a while, but medications reduces all the problems.
