Does Citrucel work for constipation?

My aunt had a delivery a month a go and now she has a beautiful baby boy. But, because of the c section, her defecation was disturbed and now she has troubles when going to bathroom. Constipation occurred soon after. She did not want to take anything for that condition, because she is breastfeeding. Does Citrucel work for constipation?

I had similar problems with my stool and this medication helped me a lot. The difference is, I was not breastfeeding at the time. Citrucel is a natural medication (methylcellulose plant fibers) that can efficiently bond to water and in this way stimulates peristaltic motions. You must know that your aunt must consult a doctor because she is obviously having medical difficulties.
