| Hello! My brother has to start with Fludara next week. His leukemia is getting worse and his doctor thinks Fludara will improve his condition significantly. Yesterday I talked to some of my friends and he told me that there are many terrible side effects. Some said that Fludara gives no side effects. Does Fludara give any side effects? |

Hello! As any other medicine it is normal that Fludara has side effects. Of course some patients feels them and some don’t. The most reported side effects are nausea, vomiting, anorexia, fatigue, malaise, pneumonia, gastrointestinal disturbances and many others.
As I mentioned many times before each patient is individual case. Important is that she listens to her doctor and follows his instructions. Of course it is important that she reports all side effects she feels. Good luck!
